In the cardiology department, the electrophysiology room has been entirely renovated and refitted to make the personnel’s job easier.
The double C-arm radiology system is ultra-compact; technical arms support all of the additional medical devices. The ergonomics of the room is ideal and movement optimized. This is very much appreciated for operations that may last for several hours.
Thanks to software, it is possible to view in real time the applied and accumulated radiation on the patient and adjust the irradiation angle if necessary during the operation to prevent overexposure. The doses received by the patient and healthcare staff are also significantly reduced.
