Le Centre des maladies virales émergentes est une institution conjointe des Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève (HUG) et de l’Université de Genève (UNIGE). Depuis sa création, le centre s’est imposé comme un acteur clé dans la recherche, la prévention et la réponse aux maladies virales émergentes.
Depuis dix ans, il joue un rôle majeur dans la préparation et la gestion des urgences sanitaires, tant au niveau national qu'international. À travers ses laboratoires nationaux de référence pour les virus émergents, la grippe, la rougeole et la rubéole, le centre offre à la Suisse une expertise scientifique reconnue, des capacités diagnostiques de haute performance et un savoir-faire spécialisé dans la prise en charge des infections virales à haut risque.
Cet anniversaire sera l’opportunité de revenir sur une décennie d’engagement, d’innovation et de collaborations scientifiques, ainsi que de partager nos perspectives pour l’avenir.
