Limiting stress
The HUG Private Foundation funded two projects for decorating and arranging reception areas :
- one in the adult intensive care unit
- the other in paediatric intensive care.
In these moments of distress experienced by families, it is important for the environment to be a soothing factor.
In the Children’s hospital, the space was imagined and designed by a mother who is an architect. Thanks to comfortable furniture to rest, a kitchenette to heat up meals, and soothing colors, it becomes a little haven with a spare bed and a shower.
