Mission of the Neurology Division
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with a neurological condition, often in collaboration with other divisions, such as Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery, Neuro-Rehabilitation and the Specialist Internal Medicine Divisions. Act based on current advances in medical knowledge while respecting the wishes of the patient.
- Patients can be admitted or treated as outpatients. In the latter case, they are given a referral consultation (to a specialist unit) by their regular physician or are referred to outpatient hospitalization with prior scheduling of treatment.
