Mission of the Division of Neurorehabilitation

The Division of Neurorehabilitation of the Geneva University Hospitals supports adults who have lost some of their autonomy and functional abilities following an injury to the nervous system.

Its main mission is to provide hospital and outpatient rehabilitation care tailored to the needs of each patient. Referrals can be made by hospital services, general practitioners or insurance companies.

Your rehabilitation is based on the collaboration of professionals who share the same goal: your progress.

Each team member brings a specific skill to help you build a coherent and complete project.

Regular team meetings allow you to take stock of your progress and plan your career path.

Education, training and research

The Division of Neurorehabilitation develops teaching and research activities closely linked to its medical activity.

His teams conduct research projects in various fields of neuroscience and rehabilitation, including memory, language and vision disorders, as well as movement rehabilitation.

At the same time, the service is actively involved in the training of health professionals and offers a postgraduate training program.
