Reclaim your independence in everyday life

Located in the premises of the Beau-Séjour Hospital, the day hospital offers multidisciplinary therapies for rehabilitation and reintegration.

For whom?

Adult patients with central or peripheral nervous system impairment resulting in functional disability. The causes can be varied: stroke, head trauma, etc.

What goal?

Regain your autonomy and independence in daily life activities.

What benefits?

  • Evaluation of your needs after your return home.
  • Establishing a weekly schedule coordinating cognitive or physical therapies. Sessions can be individual or in a group.
  • Support in the realization of your project, such as resuming professional activity.
  • Information on the prevention resources available to you: care and support network (social workers, psychologists, associations, etc.).

+ INFO At your disposal:

  • the possibility of reheating meals or taking a pre-heated tray.
  • rest beds.
  • television, books and games.
  • secure locker for storing belongings and valuables.

The team

The team consists of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, speech therapists, and social workers.

It meets regularly for a multidisciplinary colloquium, and maintains the link with your treating physician as well as your care network.

How to integrate the day hospital?

You can be admitted after a:

  • hospitalization in the neurorehabilitation or neurology department
  • outpatient consultation at the neurorehabilitation department.

If the request is made by a general practitioner, the treatment begins with a neurological consultation.

Invoicing

Consultations are reimbursed under basic health insurance (LAMal) after deduction of the deductible and the patient’s share (10% of the costs).
