Senior physicians in the Infectious Diseases Division participate in pre-graduate instruction in microbiology and infectiology given to students of the Geneva Faculty of Medicine (FR). They lead several seminars as well as courses dealing with subjects associated with their specialty. They are also responsible for several hours of postgraduate teaching and participate in training students in nursing and biomedical analysis technicians. They act as mentors during FAMH training in microbiology through clinical microbiology laboratories.
The division is structured to make sure that FMH training in infectiology meets the highest quality standards. It provides FMH specialization in infectious diseases and a continuing education program (FR).
