Evénement professionnel

The Department of Radiation Oncology of the Geneva University Hospitals recently created the “Laboratoire d’Innovation en Radio-oncologie appliquée à la Radio-oncologie” (LiRR) and to celebrate this new dynamic, we are pleased to invite you to the Inaugural Geneva Symposium on Translation Research in Radiation Oncology, on the 28th August, 2025

Radiation oncology is an extremely efficient, safe and cost-effective pilar of cancer treatment. Convinced that clinically relevant innovations can only be created through an open dialogue between the clinics and the laboratory, we initiated this symposium as a space where global expertise can be shared.

We will focus on two axes: breast cancer, the most common cancer in women as a model of translational and clinical research with concrete clinical benefits, and FLASH radiotherapy, the most promising innovation in the field of radiotherapy.
We are looking forward to the great exchanges that this opportunity brings.

Pre Pelagia Tsoutsou & Pre Marie-Catherine Vozenin
