The Swiss Cancer Center Léman (SCCL) is an alliance created by and amongst the leading institutions that are the : University hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), the University hospitals of Geneva (HUG), the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and its privileged partners (see below).
Under a single inclusive identity, this consortium brings together the region's key actors in cancer care, from bench to bedside.
By focusing efforts on the leading edge of their respective fields, the objective of the alliance members is to develop precision and predictive medical care, one that will recast the treatment of cancer patients.

The SCCL is set in the imposing regional context of the "Health Valley" which includes 450 biotech and 300 medtech firms, 500 biomedical research laboratories and 8 incubators. It is also part of the BioAlps network, backed by the six French-speaking regions of Switzerland, that of Berne (federal government) and the Swiss Confederation.
