An accessible website is a site where all visitors understand the content.
It must be accessible:
The World Wide Web Consortium's Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) has established technical standards. Some of these rules are as follows:
We are continuously working on improving our website, especially with its accessibility issues. In early 2019, we redesigned our website to include a high contrast version for people with a visual impairment. A button located in the header of the site allows a person to display all the pages on the site in black and white with one click of the mouse (except images, videos and some gray elements like the menu or the footer).
We use specialized tools, such as Site Improve, to detect problems and identify areas to improve accessibility on our website. We correct errors and deploy adapted solutions.
We are continuously working on accessibility criteria to detect improvements to implement. Quite a few fixes related to issues with headers, images and links have already been implemented and we are continuing these efforts.
