Dr. Hans-Christoph Diener is one of the most cited neurologists in Europe, author of more than 700 peer-reviewed articles in top-ranking journals. His clinical expertise covers a remarkably broad range of neurologic fields with the special focus on stroke and headache. Dr. Diener served as the President
of the German Neurological Society, the European Headache Federation (EHF), and the International Headache Society (IHS), and chaired the German Headache Consortium and the German Stroke Data Bank. Currently, Hans-Christoph Diener is Senior Professor of Clinical Neuroscience at the University Duisburg-Essen.
