Wolfram Karenovics attended primary and secondary school in Basel. He then began studying medicine at the Universities of Geneva and Zurich. He completed his specialization in surgery at Neuchâtel and in Geneva. After that, he completed his thoracic surgery studies in London. Since 2015, Dr. Karenovics has been a staff physician in the Thoracic and Endocrine Surgery Division at the HUG.
