Bill Ventres is a US-trained family doctor and anthropologist. After over 20 years practicing in safety-net clinics and prison health in Arizona and Oregon, in 2010 he moved to Central America where he teaches in public health. His interests include care for underserved people, medical humanities, social interdependency, and the global development of family medicine.
