Lymphomas and myelomas are blood cancers that affect the immune system. Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphocytes that generally develops in the lymph nodes. Multiple myeloma is a cancer of the bone marrow characterized by the abnormal proliferation of plasma cells.

Hematologic diseases encompass all conditions affecting cells circulating in the peripheral blood and produced by the bone marrow.

Gynecological cancers affect the organs and tissues of the female reproductive system. The most common are endometrial, ovarian, and cervical cancers
