Following the tragic event in Crans-Montana, we are closely monitoring our blood supplies. To ensure that we have sufficient blood supplies in the coming days and weeks, regular donor planning is necessary. We therefore invite donors to make an appointment for their next donation in the coming weeks.
Have you just returned from a trip and would like to donate blood? Or are you planning a trip and want to know if you can donate blood afterwards?

The need for platelets is high this summer, but donations are down. The blood components, essential for people with transplants, undergoing chemotherapy or suffering bleeding, for example, are particularly in demand during this period.
The Blood Transfusion Center is looking for male and female platelet donors to meet the demand. People who have already given blood at least once can contact the CTS on 022 372 39 07 to check their eligibility to donate platelets.
