The Swiss Pediatric Liver Center is the only center in Switzerland accredited in Highly Specialized Medicine (HSM) for pediatric liver transplantation as well as for hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery in children.
This national accreditation confirms its role as a center of reference and expertise for complex pediatric liver diseases. It attests to compliance with strict requirements regarding quality of care, specialized infrastructure, interdisciplinary organization, postgraduate training and research.

This care also relies on close multidisciplinary collaboration with numerous specialists, particularly in oncology, pathology, radiology, intensive care, immunology, anesthesiology, nephrology and metabolic diseases, as well as with many other experts involved according to the specific needs of each patient.
