The HUG NeuroCentre is proud to have participated in the "Me and My Brain" day organized by the CERN's medical service. Giannina Rita Iannotti, coordinator of the NeuroCentre, had the pleasure of speaking alongside experts from the Faculty of Medicine at UNIGE, Foundation for brain research and CERN's knowledge transfer group to address various exciting aspects of brain research.
Dr. Matthias Kirschner, associate physician in charge of the Biomarker Unit at HUG's psychiatry department, was also present. Dr. Kirschner actively collaborates with the HUG NeuroCentre, particularly through the brain and mental health consultation.
On the agenda: sleep, self-awareness, the impact of positive thinking on our state of mind, motivation and determination, memory, and the contribution of CERN technologies to advances in brain research.
A day rich in discussions and discoveries that perfectly illustrates the value of interdisciplinary collaboration in the field of neuroscience.
