The WHO Reference Laboratory for COVID-19 is one of 26 laboratories designated by the WHO as an international reference for COVID-19 diagnosis. This laboratory, headed by Prof. Isabella Eckerle, contributes in particular by validating various COVID-19 diagnostic methods.
