Pour la première fois, elle a le label "Patient Included" car les patients sont associés au programme et également aux débats.

Le service PCI organise une conférence biannuelle internationale sur la prévention et contrôle de l’infection et plusieurs cours structurés.
Suite au succès des éditions précédentes (2011, 2013, 2015 et 2017), la cinquième édition de l’ICPIC (International Conference on Prevention and Infection Control) a eu lieu du 10 au 13 Septembre 2019. Depuis la première édition en 2011, la conférence a toujours été un succès, et a attiré plus de 1000 participants provenant de plus de 100 pays.
