Cancer treatments provided, after consultations, are carried out in the specialized units of the division, as an outpatient or a hospitalized patient, as required. Support care in oncology may be provided to make sure all patients receive the best quality of life possible throughout the course of the illness. The Oncology Division may be led to suggest to some patients that they participate in ongoing clinical studies to give them access to innovative and promising treatments.
