Geneva Health Forum 2020
The Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) and the University of Geneva, organizers of the Geneva Health Forum (GHF), regret to announce that the Steering Committee together with the Programme Committee of the GHF have decided to postpone the eighth edition of the Forum which was due to take place 24th-26th March 2020.
This was a hard decision to take, but given the current outbreak of coronavirus, together with the decision taken by the Federal Council to prohibit any event gathering more than 1000 people until 15th March at least based on the Swiss Epidemics Act, it appeared that maintaining the Geneva Health Forum at the foreseen dates was too risky in many regards.
The 8th edition of the Geneva Health Forum will now take place from 16th to 18th November 2020. As for the format of the Forum, the organizers plan to keep it as close as possible to the current one.
